CLOWN CAKE
The Story Of Our Company
My name is Shupan Abraham and I am the owner of "Cakes By Shupan."
For as long as I can remember, I've always loved the kitchen. I was
always cooking or baking something, always trying out new recipes.
In 1996 when our son was about to turn one, I saw the picture of a clown
cake in a magazine that I really wanted him to have on his first birthday,
but I did not know anyone who could make that cake for him. I then had
an idea! I was going to read the instructions and attempt to make my son
that clown cake. Determined, I purchased plastic tips from the grocery
store and used regular note book paper for my icing bag. To my
surprise, I made the cake without much difficulty. And then "Cakes By
Shupan" was born. I started taking cake decorating classes and have
continued to do so to improve and learn new techniques since.
